I can't believe I am doing this

I have, on several occasions, given other environmental economists a hard time about diving into macro discussions. so........ here I am starting a macro blog. I am teaching Principles of Macroeconomics this term (first time in 6 years) and want to use this site primarily as a tool for discussing current events with my class, but I hope folks outside the class will also contribute to our conversations.
